Orange County Physician of Excellence
Dr. Ornstein was recently selected as an Orange County Physician of Excellence by the Orange County Medical Association.
 
Vanguard Urologic Institute
Dr. Ornstein recently relocated to Houston to join the Vanguard Urologic Institute in the Texas Medical Center where he will be Director of Urologic Oncology and Medicial Director of the Vanguard Urologic Research Foundation. Dr. Ornstein will continue to apply his vast experience and expertise in robotic surgery to treat patients with prostate, bladder and kidney cancer.
 
Experienced Robotic Surgeon

Dr. Ornstein has successfully completed nearly 500 robotic surgeries including more than 400 robotic prostatectomies for prostate cancer and more than 65 robotic cystectomies for bladder cancer.

Dr. Ornstein wins award

At the 2007 annual meeting of the American Urologic Association, Dr. Ornstein became the 6th recipient of the prestigious Investigator Award from the Society of Urologic Oncology. This award recognizes excellence in both research and clinical practice in the area of urologic oncology.
